“Influences And Recollections of a Musical Mind”

I am an unapologetic devotee of Alice Cooper as a band and as the singer of the same name. They/He can do very little wrong in my humble opinion. Deciding which of the many classic albums in Alice’s illustrious career to spotlight first was a daunting challenge, to say the least. Killer was released near the end of 1971, sported a marvelous collection of songs including Dead Babies, Halo Of Flies, Desperado, and Under My Wheels, and featured a striking closeup of one intense looking snake on the album cover. Alice still performs a handful of tunes from this album in his shows all of these decades later. Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols went on record to proclaim Killer the greatest rock album of all time. Good enough to start here, but I guarantee we will see more releases from the Coop later in the list! Long live the Coop!
