Influences And Recollections of a Musical Mind

Outlaw Country…Hank Williams III…Straight To Hell…the real deal, accept no substitute! Released in 2006, this amazing album features country music recorded the old school way, with tales of drunken debauchery and reckless livin’, full of fiddles and flat picked acoustic guitars, and that voice, so reminiscent of his legendary grandfather’s, and yet totally plugged into the reality of modern times. The song Angel Of Sin is probably my all-time favorite country song, and other highlights include the incredible Low Down, Dick In Dixie, Pills I Took, and My Drinkin’ Problem. This was the first country album to ever receive a Parental Warning Sticker, and the language and subject matter are pretty rough at times. But 3 is taking a stand against “Pop Country”, and he is a man on a mission. If you like your country authentic and unapologetic, this is the one for you.
