“Rough Day” by Days Of The New

Haven’t heard this in a while. Seems better than I remember. Don’t you just love it when that happens? Haha.

Korn: Issues

November 16, 1999. Korn released the timeless classic “Issues.” It instantly became my favorite Korn album.

This was the first album that I owned that I could listen to from start to finish. It’s ironic that it falls on the same day as my mother’s birthday.

Or as ironic as “Life Is Peachy” release date falls on my grandmother’s birthday October 15th. Without them, I wouldn’t exist.

Almost as if I was straight up DESTINED to be into Korn.

As far as Metal goes, they are my gateway band after all. How awesome and ironic is that??! Gotta love it. Haha. 🤘😎🤘

“Someone’s In The Wolf” by Queens Of The Stone Age

“Once you’re lost in the taillight’s blue, You don’t find your way, The way finds you…”

You know how a song has that cool part to it? This whole song IS the cool part. Haha. This is easily one of my top 3 favorite songs from QOTSA. Fuckin love how it sounds. Dope ass music to drive to… Haha. 🤘😎🤘

This is me when I heard “10s” by Pantera for the first time. Haha.

I remember where I was and what year it was the first time I listened to it back in 06 in my first apartment. Listening to the album track to track and boom! There it was. I was blown away. I wasn’t ready… Haha. It’s such an intense song. I can’t stress that enough. RIP DIME. RIP VINNIE PAUL. 🤘😎🤘

“Live In A Hole” by Pantera

“I promised myself somewhere in the teenage life

I’d never submit to the ones I will not be like

Live in a hole

But stay close to my kind

Cause they understand what burns in my mind”

Pantera’s music is the stuff of legends. Nothing will ever be better than this.

“From Mars” by Gojira

I just looked myself

Straight in the eyes and saw

That I had to move

To higher places

So I took my courage

In both hands and

I pushed off the ground

With all my might

Took off from the red place

In the sky I fly

I have lost my reason

And I’ve made my sense

From up there I will see

Where I’m from

And where the force of love

Will tell me now to go

But why do you say

That you are lost

If you don’t even try

To find yourself

My words are a stairs

I put my feet on

And I climb through

A starless night to my place
