Back in 2001, there was an episode of Spongebob Squarepants that revolved around character Sandy Cheeks getting in shape before hibernation. Nickelodeon used Pantera‘s “Death Rattle” for the montages of all the extreme training, though with the vocals edited down and the song chopped down to be much shorter, and titled “Pre-Hibernation.”

Now there’s a Spongebob vinyl coming out that focuses on the music of the early episodes, and Pantera is on it… right before a song about friendship. It’ll make for an interesting listen for those not quite expecting Pantera, huh?
